CLARION CONGRESS HOTEL ÚSTÍ NAD LABEM INAUGURATED
Prague / Ústí nad Labem – Thursday, May 5, 2011, Clarion Congress Hotel Ústí nad Labem****, the sixth Clarion Hotel of CPI Hotels was inaugurated. The festive gala evening was moderated by Iva Kubelková, the Inflagranti violin players played, Duo Ogor, an acrobatic group performed, and about 300 distinguished guests participated in the diamond toast. During the gala evening Ing. Zdeněk Havelka, CEO of Czech Property Investments, a.s., an investor company, handed over a cheque for CZK 300,000 to the Kapka naděje Foundation Fund. A symbolic cheque was taken over by Vendula Auš Svobodová, its president and the money will be used for buying a special breathing apparatus for the treatment of asthma in children in the Regional Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem.

Important figures of the cultural, social and political life could thus see a new dominant in the corner of Masaryk Street and the Špitálského Square, formed by the four-star Clarion Congress Hotel Ústí nad Labem. “A six-storey building offers 83 double rooms in total which can be interconnected at the highest floor into spatial suites. A generously conceived reception and a lobby bar at the entrance from the square serve not only to hotel guests, but also to participants in congresses, seminars or social events,“ Daniel Řepa, the Director of the hotel, described. The hotel offers congress backgrounds for up to 480 delegates.
The capacity of the biggest congress hall is 250 persons. Completely air-conditioned congress halls are equipped with the state-of-the-art technologies, their variable area can be divided to several smaller halls by means of sliding walls and thus several separate events can be held at one time. “Our goal is to contribute to the development of congress tourism in Ústí nad Labem. We believe Clarion Hotel will provide representative accommodation and background facilities for holding important professional and social meetings both to local and foreign entities,” the Director added. The building of the hotel and offices is connected with underground garages having the capacity of 160 parking stands.

CPI City Center continues the modern development in the vicinity and thanks to the system of underground passages, it preserves airiness and enables pedestrians to pass the inner square. The opened hotel forms part of a pilot multi-purpose complex which the partner of the operator – the developing and investment CPI Group – wants to implement in other regional cities as well. “We continue the concept of the Clarion brand development in regions when the existing network of hotels in Prague, Liberec, Ostrava and Ústí nad Labem will be extended by facilities in České Budějovice (2011/2012), Olomouc and Hradec Králové in future,“ Jan Kratina, CEO and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, CPI Hotels, a.s., said.
The Benada Restaurant with the entrance from the internal rest parterre of the complex is available to hotel guests and the Ústí nad Labem general public from the early morning to late evening hours. The menu offers specialities of the domestic and international cuisine and gourmets can look forward to regular gastronomic seasonal events.
